Terms of Service

1. The service
Closed Testers ("we", "us") coordinates a panel of independent testers who opt in to a customer's ("you", "developer") Google Play closed testing track, install the app, and use it across the testing window associated with your selected plan. We provide coordination and status reporting; we do not control Google's review or approval decisions.
2. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for: uploading a working, policy-compliant build to your closed testing track; adding our Google Group as instructed; and ensuring your app does not violate Google Play Developer Program Policies. We reserve the right to decline or pause a test cycle for apps that appear to violate those policies or applicable law.
3. Payments
Fees are due at booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. Our standard rate is $20 per app, $50 for 3 apps, and $10 for each additional app beyond that, as shown on our Pricing page. Rates may be confirmed individually for unusual app complexity or extended testing periods. Payment is accepted via PayPal or Revolut.
4. Refunds
If we are unable to deliver a completed test cycle due to an issue on our side, you are entitled to a full refund or a free re-run, at your choice. Refunds are not guaranteed for cycles disrupted by issues in your app (e.g. crashes preventing testers from continuing) — we will work with you to resume once a fix is available.
5. No guarantee of Google approval
We confirm that the closed testing requirement has been met on our end. Google Play's decision to grant production access depends on additional factors outside our service, including policy compliance, content rating, and app content. We do not guarantee approval for production.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Closed Testers is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including delays or denials in Google Play's review process.
